FreeRice is a non-profit organization that donates billions of grains of rice to organizations that distribute them in third world countries. By expanding your vocabulary (and practicing for the SAT!), you can help feed someone. And at no cost to you, I might add. The non-annoying banners at the bottom of the page represent the websites sponsors, who end up paying for the rice. It's a win-win-win situation. Can't get much better than that.

Wow...this site is AWESOME!!! I can do vocab (which I LOVE), AND feed people; I donated like 3,000 grains in a few minutes--and it got my brain working! Thank you so much for posting this link, my famiy's been at it all week!
